Perfect Late Spring Flowers

The first real blooms in the garden consist of deep pink roses, peonies, alchemilla mollis and various astrantias.  When all put together in a large vase, they have a real country garden charm.  Sadly, ants really like the peonies and swarm all over their heads, so they don’t last long out in the garden.  If anyone has any good tips for discouraging them, I’d be really grateful!
