Gosh my tadpoles are taking ages to mature… is anyone else finding this or is it just the microclimate of our pond that is delaying them?

Nevertheless, it was decided that a froglet hunt was the order of the day.

This little chap was basking in amongst the duckweed…

…and although he hasn’t lost all of his tadpoley-tail, he is definitely on the way to being a handsome frog.

I love him already. Apparently his name is Bert.
