In case you’re not down with the lingo… blog buttons are useful little ‘stickers’ that can be put onto someone else’s blog to advertise your site and to direct traffic your way.
I have been tinkering with mine for ages (as there is a bit of code involved) and I was lucky enough to be one of the sponsors on The First Lime blog, here, and my button was put to good use!

Thanks for the post… how would I place one of the blog buttons I grab onto my own blog? I’m part of a blog challenge, and I can’t figure out how to put the button on my blog.
Hello! Thank you for stopping by and leaving a lovely comment. You would need to copy the code in the little box and paste it into a text box in your widgets page. Hopefully then it will transform itself into a linked image on your blog! x
I appreciate you replying to my comment. After I left the message I did more searching and found the information about the Text widget. But again, I appreciate your help and I know I will use this post for when I’m ready to start creating my own buttons.
