I was reminded of this sweet idea by my newest blog discovery Modern Country Style, here. These little hearts look like the perfect way to soften up my new kitchen (which is made up of blues and greys – and *ahem* not yet finished – I will get round to it, I promise)!
I searched for some step-by-step instructions, so that I could check that I was on the right track and I found them at Cut Out and Keep, here.
Don’tcha love it?!!! If you want to make it even more fancy, you can put dried lavender inside and it can smell fantastic as well as look fantastic!

Such a clever idea. Great for decorating a Christmas tree perhaps with a pocket in the back for a ‘treat”.
Ooh… good plan. Will adapt my next version!
Very pretty and a great way of using up scraps of material (of which I have loads!). You should have a look at my friends website, she´s very much into recycling! http://florenceandfreddie.wordpress.com/
I will check it out now – thanks!!!!
